To me, Christmas truly is the most wonderful time of the year! As a child, it was all about the anticipation of what Santa would bring us, and the highlight was the annual Christmas program at church. I loved singing and doing plays. I understood that Christmas was the celebration of Christ coming to the earth as a baby, but it certainly wasn’t my focus.
When I began creating Christmas memories for my own children, the true meaning of Christmas began to grip my heart in a new and fresh way. What a profound revelation it was to me to learn how to celebrate Christmas with all the wonder and joy of understanding who my Messiah was and all that I have because of Him. This took my celebration to a whole new level!
This season, we will be reading through the book Because of Bethlehem, by Max Lucado. What is the big deal about this baby in a manger? What does his birth have to do with me? We all have our own answers to this, but we will ponder the beauty of all this season has to offer in a fresh new light through this wonderful Advent study.
Guess what else? This also includes an optional coloring book, and it is gorgeous! How fun!
We will do the traditional book instead of the workbook. This is available in a hardback edition, on Kindle, and on Audible. Yes, you can even have this entire study narrated to you!
You can purchase the printed book, the Kindle version, and the Audible version through Amazon.
You can also purchase the coloring book from Amazon, but it is optional.
