This is one of the giveaways for our Bible Study Launch Party. This is a scrumptious fall dessert and is a huge hit every time I serve it! My mom gave this to me years ago, but I decided not to keep it a secret. It’s just too good not to share! I hope you enjoy this!

Pumpkin Pie Cake

Ingredients:

1 box yellow cake mix (reserve 1 cup)
1 stick butter
1 egg
1 large can pumpkin
¼ c. sugar
3 eggs
½ c. brown sugar
2/3 c. milk
1 ½ tsp. cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray 13″ X 9″ pan.

Crust:

Remove 1 cup cake mix from the box; set aside. To remainder, add melted stick of butter and egg. Beat with fork until cake mix is absorbed, then press into a 9X13X2 inch pan.

Filling:

In a large bowl, add pumpkin, then add the remaining ingredients. Beat well. Spread over crust.

Topping:

½ c. sugar
1 c. reserved cake mix
½ stick butter
½ c. chopped pecans

Combine ingredients with fork; spread over pumpkin mixture. Bake at 350 for 50-55 minutes.

Optional: You may serve with a dollop of whipped cream. YUM!!!
