Spring is an exciting time at Heart to Heart, and I am thrilled that today is the day of the great reveal for our spring Bible study!
(Drum roll, please…)
We will be going through the newly revised study, No Other Gods, by Kelly Minter, beginning April 30, 2018. Registration will open in the next couple of weeks, but I wanted to let you know early so you will have time to prepare for and choose your next Bible study, and to purchase your books. Keep an eye out for an announcement for registration to begin soon after Easter!
Our focus this spring is to go deeper in our relationship with God, and to rid our lives of anything that crowds Christ from the throne of our hearts. I believe this will be a time of heart healing, spiritual growth, being set free from bondage, and growing in our passion for God’s Word.
Often, idols are obvious—money, power, fame. But subtler idols can sometimes take the form of sweet loved ones, Instagramable interiors, and busy seasons of ministry.
But if your heart is prioritizing any of those pursuits before God, they are taking up space meant for Him alone.
In this 8-session study, learn to identify the functional gods you are serving daily and the lies they tell. Only when you learn to dethrone modern-day idols can you pursue a deeper, more meaningful relationship with Jesus.
The original No Other God’s study, by Kelly Minter, was her very first Bible study, published in 2007. Ten years later, and Kelly has grown and matured quite a bit in her faith and in her knowledge of Scripture. She wanted to implement what she has learned in a new version of her first Bible study, which was published just this past December. This is going to be such an exciting and rich study!
I will be implementing some new updates to our Bible study method too! This is going to be fun, interactive, and meaningful!

Meanwhile, we are working together on a challenge to implement positive habits in our lives. We will officially begin as a group on March 19, but you are welcome to begin whenever you are ready!
