The Women of Easter Begins March 20!

I am so excited to announce our newest book study for the Easter season at Heart to Heart Women’s Bible Studies, The Women of Easter, by Liz Curtis Higgs. This begins Monday, March 20, and it’s going to be awesome!

Imagine the scene as Mary walked into the room, disregarding the snickers and sneers of those who did not understand her passionate devotion or lavish worship. As she breaks her jar of expensive nard and pours it out onto Jesus, the room fills with the sweet fragrance. Despite the objections of those who see this as nothing but waste, Mary kneels at the feet of Jesus and wipes them with her hair. Her concern was not in what other would think, because they have not experienced the same life-change that Mary had encountered through her relationship with Christ. She just knew she had to pour herself out in worship to her Lord.

Have you ever felt that way? Perhaps we will once we rediscover our Lord from Mary’s perspective!

My sisters, we are about to have a personal encounter with this Jesus ourselves during these next four weeks! Through the perspective and the lives of these three Mary’s in Scripture, we will tread slowly and deliberately, verse by verse, through the Gospel accounts and discover fresh facets from our Lord’s life and character that we may not have explored before.

As worded from the book’s publisher:
Your mind and emotions will be engaged and your faith strengthened as each scene unfolds, preparing your heart for a richer, deeper Easter experience. Liz Curtis Higgs, a seasoned Bible teacher and award-winning novelist, combines her storytelling skills with a thorough verse-by-verse study of Scripture as together you explore the remarkable lives of The Women of Easter.

Are you ready for a fresh encounter with the Divine? Are you ready to get up close and personal with Jesus in a brand-new way? My prayer is that this study will draw your hearts closer to the Lord and more deeply devoted to Him this Easter season.

Let’s get started!

How This Works

  • Join our closed Facebook group, Heart to Heart Women’s Bible Study, for weekly interaction, activities, videos, and small group sessions. Closed means that no one will be able to see our posts unless they are members of the group. This is for your safety and privacy.
  • Small Groups: There will be a schedule for small groups pinned to the top of the Facebook group, Heart to Heart Women’s Bible Study, as we get closer to the time. All you need to do is show up, and the discussion will take place underneath the group photo. Here is our current schedule:

  • Follow my ministry page on Facebook, Shari Lewis Ministries, to stay up-to-date on ministry events and for daily prayers, nuggets of wisdom and encouragement for your life, photos that you are welcome to share, and faith building blog posts to strengthen you in your walk with Christ.
  • Purchase a study book and follow the reading and group schedule. I also recommend also having a journal or a spiral notebook handy for notes.
  • Videos will be provided on our Facebook page each week. These are optional but will provide extra insights to our reading.
